Title: New Front Wings - When to Polish?
Post by: ianv5 on July 27, 2012, 11:01:06 pm
Just got my car back from the paint-shop after having to new front wings under rust warranty claim. When can I give the wings a detail as the finish is ok but I can see very fine spider marks so they will need a slight correction?

Any advice welcome car is Tornado Red if that helps.

By the way colour match is spot on so no blending issues :happy2:

Have my own DA and mezerna polishes/pads.

You can polish once the paint's pretty much dry. It's waxing/sealing that you need to wait a month or so.

Thanks for the info.

Why wait a month for waxing/sealing?

Explained elsewhere but paint needs curing and takes longer from a bodyshop than from factory.
