Title: swap cd-changer for vw ipod dock ?

I have a rcd300 with arm-rest cd-changer, is it possible to swap the changer for one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-SEAT-SKODA-MDI-MEDIA-IN-IPOD-MP3-USB-ARMREST-ADAPTOR-DOCK-ONLY-/221078368761?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item33794c31f9#ht_1755wt_1163 if so is it just plugg-n-play ???

The answer is NO

the one in the link is an MDI

you can change your CD changer for an ipod dock like this one

I changed my cd charger for the ipod self as Eddie mentions,just plug and play

Yeah thanks for that, I've bought the one in the link just need to get the keys to remove the cd-changer now... :happy2:

Have you got this working? In the same situation, iv gt the dock. Charges but no sound!
