Does he like them??

Yes, i had them last year, not a bad tyre tbh. What sort of price are you getting them at. I am running the r1r now. Awesome tyre, but at a price. :happy2:
-
i had the old design on my A3 and swapped to Falken FK452s - i'd say they're about as good as each other so my advice is pay a bit more and get some better tyres - Hankook Evos/Goodyear F1 Assys and the like
-
I've had 452's and imho i think the toyo was the better tyre of the two grip wise but didn't last as long. 452's are a shocking tyre for a modded car

They are £105..might consider the vreds too...

Which vreds? Ultrac? If so go for those without hesitation over the toyo's

There are a few ultracs which one?? Vorti or cento or sessanta

Vredstein have launched a new tyre with asymmetric tread pattern,

looked really good when i had a look at one at my tyre fitters, i prefer them to the sessanta.

An alternative to the T1R is the T1sports. I have them on all corners and grip better than the T1R. Having had them on my two previous cars and were the tyre of my choice until I tried the new T1sports.
-
Had T1Rs on my last GTi and a few scooby`s and i liked them. would consider them again when i need new rubber for my current car
-
My previous 2 GTI's have all run T1R's, good Tyre and camskill did 2 delivered for £198.
My ED 30 runs them also :happy2:

I've been somewhat considering the T1sports myself, but I'm still really quite happy with my Sumitomo HTR ZIII's. On my second set now as they get over 30k miles having great grip dry or wet, and even when cold. Plus it is impossible to beat their price.
