I have a peek on here every now and then to see if iv crossed paths with a fellow member always to no avail. Every time i see one of our beloved motors around my area i get an old giffer at the wheel usually on 17s with a tartan rug on the back shelf! Whhhhhy ohhh whhhhy? Modddddd it grandad! :laugh:
Anyways.... I may see one youuus around! Haha

My old man runs a mk5 pirelli gti, however he's just done a deal to trade it for a new mk6 ED35. He's 76 yrs old btw.
Can't convince him of the need for a re-map but he did spec up the new car with 19" glendales, xenons and ACC. :notworthy:
FWIW he tells me he always slows down when he sees another Gti/veedub or gawping pedestrian - lets them take a good look at the car. He only drive fast when he's out on his own in the monutains.
