Title: HELP - I need a new turbo unit ASAP

My mechanic has just called saying the place he gets refurbed turbos from has stopped doing them for this GTI and will only do new units not at £680+Vat.

From my understanding it needs a new turbo complete with all the wastegate, actuator rod etc etc.

Can anyone name a company where I can get a guaranteed refurb, or a cheaper new unit?

not sure of your car but i can do a new Genuine BW  OEM VAG 2.0 TFSI K04-064 for 1,045,00 euros inc Vat

Well due to time restraints I've had to go for a new turbo unit.

£580+vat.  :surprised:
