Hi
Can anyone tell me if all edition 30`s have half leather interiors ? I have come across a 07 plate 5 door dsg which has right bumpers, spoilers but has cloth interior (full electric seats) and Monza wheels silver (look like 18" poss refurbed) and no Ed 30 badge.
Do you think it is a uk car or are these signs it could be import ? If so how does if affect price ?
Many thanks

All edition 30's came with half leather trim, as for wheels they either came with Pescaras or Huffs/Detroits.
Sounds suspect to me?

The bumper can be fitted easily. It will be a gti with colour coded bumper like loads have done on here
-
If it's UK, look in the boot or in the logbook for the sticker. It should say 169kw or something similar to indicate power.
-
Do you have a link to the advert for it?
-
Not a white one that's on Autotrader !

Is the car being advertised as an Edition 30? Is it trade or private? All of the cosmetic parts can be retrofitted, many on here have done just that. As Stealth said, if you can have a look in the log book.
Just checked my ED30 logbook and it says under model.... GOLF GTI EDITION 30 and power is 169, no hiding from that.
Got the advert?
:happy2:

mine is an EU import so got it cheaper.
when i originally went to see it i was not sure whether it was a gti made up to look like an ed30
euro eddies come with detroits/huffs and may not even have a space saver just daft gel to pump into the tyre.
in some ways i wish i had got a UK model now, on other hand mine was VW Newcastle's ED30 and it only had 19k on the clock and has been absolutely faultless (touch wood) so cant complain :pomppomp:

If it the white one on the trader then definately looks like a standard mk5 GTI, with colour coded trim, not an ED30. its advertised wrongly, also its priced as a standard gti.
