Will be fitting a set of H&R race springs ( lowers by 1.75 to 2.5 inches) on wed but was wondering how far to cut the bump stops down on the front and rear. standard struts will be used for now...... sorry if this has been covered a trillion times before

1st of thanks for the reply
I have been told its a requirment to give the strut more travel to stop it bottoming out so to speak. more so on the rear or fit shorter stops.
Most forums i have searched seem to be split 50/50 on the subject.
would just like a definative answer on it

Where are these springs from?
-
H&R ??
-
Sorry, meant where did you buy them from? I have h&r springs on mine with no problems
-
Bought from a forum member.
are yours the race springs?
-
Think mine are the 50mm ones so one of the lowest springs they do
-
could be the super sports, if you didnt need to cut the bump stops them i will leave them alone
thanks for your input
