Title: Quick question, VAG COM

Hi all

Another quick question, i remember when i had my MK4 that i went to someone who had VAG COM and he enabled loads of cool mod's for my car. I was just wondering if there is any for the MK5 ? and if you's could recommend any. I live in the northeast and am prepared to travel if someone on this forum offers this service.. Any help would be great..

auto lock after 15mph

beep on lock unlock

auto window close on holding the lock key

only open drivers door on unlock

im sure there's loads, most similar to the mk4

Ah cool, is there one for when you unlock the lights come on ? And stay on for 30 secs after locking ? Thanks

There are loads (including coming home/leaving home lights you have asked about) but what is there depends on what year the car is and what revision CECM & CCM you have.

Where in the Northeast are you as I'm near Darlington.

Im just from durham mate, is it easy to check what i can get or do i need VAG COM need to find that out.

You need VCDS (new version of Vag-Com) to find out. Either that or strip your dash to see what part no. is on the CECM & CCM :laugh:

I can set the lock above 15mph and coming home lights on my mfd with the steering wheel controls.

And the window open and close with the fob works too
