Title: A quick one of my GT Sport
Post by: Matto on July 31, 2012, 05:44:47 pm: One from a couple of weekends ago after fitting the smooth grill. Could someone who has the skills photoshop the front badge black please. Umming and arring whether it would look ok or not.

Just in case you decide to go black. I had one of these on my previous mk5 for a couple of years without any issues

Post by: thenamesdaryl on August 01, 2012, 04:50:42 pm: nice and shiny :) where did you get the smooth grill from? what do you do with the number plate? ive been contemplating going black badge, seen the proper thing on ebay.de for about £18, is the one that was linked earlier like a clip over the top cover?

Post by: Matto on August 01, 2012, 05:04:00 pm: Cheers mate. I just bought a second hand grill panel off ebay which I had plastic welded, smoothed and painted. Then used Araldite to fasten magnets on the reverse which line up with ones on the number plate.
