Just noticed my driver side bolster has a nice grey patch on the leather where I obviously brush against it.
I haven't a clue and I'm thinking of using black shoe polish?
Help!

Do not use black shoe polish!! What it sounds like is jean dye transfer in which case you will need a good leather cleaner to remove it. I use Dr. Leather's leather cleaner, you can also get wipes but I prefer the spray bottle. I suggest using a good brush to agitate the product aswell to remove the dye from the leather. Something like this is ideal http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog/racgelaze-leather-cleaning-brush-cat25.html
Most modern leather has a clearcoat layer from the factory now so it shouldn't be too difficult to remove, just patience and bit of elbow grease :happy2:

Try some scuff master from liquid leather! Used it on my grey gti interior and with a few passes with toner/gloss enhancer you can get an exact match. Done it 2 years ago and they seat bolsters still look as good as new!
