Bit of a double barreled issue with this. I had a key fob battery die on me. I have two keys one heavily used one brand new. Brand new one's always worked fine.
The older fob battery failed and so i replaced it and it's all working again. For some reason though it won't do the auto windows up/down as it did prior to the battery failure and re-sync.
I've been meaning to test the other brand new fob to see if it was just that fob that wouldn't open/close the windows... now that one doesn't work at all and a re sync isn't fixing it. In fact it sets the alarm off if i try to open a door with the remote. Battery is good in both fobs
Anyone any idea's ?

This thread may be of help. Helped me out. Sounds like you may have to go into the computer if both keys aren't working.

Well bugger me that's the windows going up and down from the fob fixed. Highline and MFSW and Convenience set to ALL, for some reason it had reset to off... Is that factory default ?
Still can't get my second key to sync up though. It will start the car and open the door no problem though !
