Title: ABS ESP Warning lights--- a lot has been said but....

I have what it seems to be a very common problem but with a lot of different apparent causes: ESP, ABS in yellow, and Hand brake in red warning lights accompanied by warning beeps. The break pads are almost new, brake fluid perfect.

When I look for it on the web, abs speed sensors and faulty ground cables appear as possible suspects. Can anyone tell me if this is where I should be looking for? is there another possible cause?

The car is a 09 GTI DSG.

Post by: danielvelezcaicedo on August 01, 2012, 11:17:21 pm: The car was scanned and the mecanic (VW dealer) told me it appeared that a connection was interrupted generating the message, but there was no specific part for this interruption, he told me wait and see if the next time it happens a newer, more specific code appears. In Short: No answer... hope somebody with the same problem can guide me...

Do you have an after market stereo head unit by any chance?

No, it is the sock (basic) one...
