Title: Vred Ultrac Vortis
Post by: berg on August 01, 2012, 10:53:18 pm
so anyone got any idea how good these are as an all rounder? I see they are a couple of quid more than the Eagle f1 on Camskill and a fair bit more per corner than other Vreds.

Intrigued

Price is surely way down the list when buying stuff like this? That said, I've seen a post from someone who bought tyres based on their 'sporty' V pattern grooves.

I did that once.. but at least they were Goodyear GSD3, so fairly credible.

For an extra few quid you can get some really good tyres :happy2:

It is hard to decide on tyres especially if they are new and no one has reviewed them yet.

Pity they didn't have demo cars where you could test the grip especially of you have 19s and are away to spend almost £1k on a set

Had a look at these at my local tyre fitters, was offered them at £116 a corner fitted against £133 for the goodyear asymmetric 2's, have a good sidewall for rim protection, but have not seen many reviews for such a new tyre.
