Title: Part number request - electrical connecter

Part number request please  :wink:
 
I noticed lastnight that one of the wires going into the loom connector on to the EGR valve (1J0906283) located at the back left of the engine has snapped and there is no easy way of soldering it back together or taping it. Given the location of the connecter in relation to the Turbo it’s going to get pretty warm so I think the only option is to splice a new connecter on to the loom.

What I could really use is the part number of the female connector that connects to the EGR Valve and confirmation that a repair wire will be suitable.

1J0 973 722   approx   6.43

repair wire

0.5mm2 cable   000 979 021 E     approx   3.57

1mm2 cable  000 979 133 E   approx 2.56
