Title: 18 or 17 monzas?

I have 17 monzas that will need tyres changing soon so I was thinking of changing them to 18 monza tyre prises not that different. Just wondering has anyone changed from 17 to 18 and did it make a big difference in ride, comfort etc? Seennloads of different descriptions of 18 I.e. diamond cut, black insides, chromed but what is then vw standard colour as supplied when new?

For the Monza II (18's) the factory finish for the Mk5 was diamond cut faces with grey inserts. The later Mk6's had the Monza Shadows with gloss black inserts.

I went from 17 Monza to18" BBS Pescara's and the ride is no worse.  :happy2:

I'm looking at a set of 18" Monza Shadow replicas from a place in Barnsley for £330... Just got to decide whether they're as important as a revo remap
