Title: Strong diesel smell

As above
I removed the dpf a couple of weeks ago and had a remap only thing is it stinks of diesel now,now if that's the norm ill just have to get used to it but there's sumik making me believe there's a problem please someone clear it up and just tell me I'm being paranoid  :laugh:

Depends on the type of software used to delete the DPF. Some reconfigure the fuelling maps as well as various other parameters, the cheap 'patch' software often just deletes fault codes. Any visible smoke on startup/idle?

cheers for that buddy  :happy2:  really helpful little thread that looks like I need to have a chat with the bloke that remapped on Monday  see what he says I knew it wasn't me just being kok  :signLOL:
Won't be happy if I've got to shell out again to have it remapped somewhere else  :confused:
