Title: Bluetooth..... The dreaded questions!

Im after some bluetooth for my car. I was looking at the "VW Touch" types but it would get on my nerves so looking at the intergrated options. I have:

RNS 510
MFSW
Mid line display (planning on highline soon)

I have been reading round but my head is muddled with all the types. I want to use the RNS-510 / MFSW / Voice control (if able) to control.

What sort of modules should i be looking at? Seen some on ebay with part numbers: 5K0 035 730 D / 7P6 035 730 E / 5N0 035 730 A / 7P6 035 730 F

Any good?

Is this the right loom for a 5k0 D even though it only says its goes upto 5k0 C?

Hi Eddie, I've just fitted a RNS510 into my car, it's a version F and I've got a few questions that i cannot find the answers to using the search function. Is it ok to 'pm' them your way? Cheers, Andy.

Im after a loom for a 5k0 rev d bluetooth unit do you have any yet?

Post by: JoeDarKa on August 10, 2012, 08:45:49 pm: Iv got the bluetooth fitted but now iv got an airbag fault. Its either going to be under the seat or the a-pillar. Going to scan it with vcds to clear it but any other ideas what to check or where the connectors are?

Would it throw up an error if you turn the ignition on without the top vent plug, plugged in that shows if the airbag is on / off on the passenger?

Yes. If u unplug that it will come as a fault on ur dash
