Title: 74 amps or 77 amps for GTI battery?

I need a new battery, i'm getting a Bosch S5,
What i need to know is do i need the 74 or 77 amps version?

My original battery was 72A and replaced it with the 77A version that also had more cold start cranking current.
In short get the better 77A one.  :smiley:

I recently got a Bosch S5 with 74amps and it's spot on. This is higher than original spec battery with higher cold cranking aswell. It is more than capable of doing the job. 5 year warranty too, so it's not really an issue! £75 with free delivery from eurocarparts if you use the latest 25% off code  :happy2:
