I've got my eyes on a KO4 BSH intake but I've got a standard gti (ko3)
Can anybody tell me if it's possible and if so what is required.
Thank you.

You will just need to get a bung to block the dv port on the intake. Apart from that it will fit just fine.
-
Thanks for your reply. Any ideas what size bung and best place to get it?

A company like forge or some one similar sell alloy bungs and silicone hose. It all depends on how wide the dv port is. If it is a bsh intake then someone like Dubtek would sell the bhs port bung.

if it's a BSH intake sell it on and buy something else. they're utter tat (speaking from experience)

Yes it is. Il wait until its fitted before I comment. I've read that all the intakes are sh*te from different people so thought I'd start with cheapest 1st! Lol

not referring to the power gains. they don't fit properly, look untidy in the engine bay because of the way the tubing sits and they move about under load and the pipe rubs against the housing causing it to cut a hole in the pipe. i've had to pay another £200 odd to get vRSAlex to totally redesign mine so it works and fits properly

My one hasn't got the filter tray as its running a larger cone filter so shouldn't have that problem.
Obviously movement might be an issue but nothing I can't sort.
