Title: Cheap stainless eBay exhausts
Post by: Pullafacial on August 08, 2012, 05:17:18 pm
Anyone had any experience with the cheap stainless catback systems on eBay?
I know they're not going to be as good as Miltek etc. but all I'm trying to achieve is a nicer sound and dont wanna pay big bucks.

if you don't wanna pay big bucks get an exhaust builder to delete your middle silencer with a piece of straight through pipework  :happy2:

Has anyone done this? What gains are possible with a Decat too? Would it stay quiet?
21 questions lol

Your best bet is to keep your eye out for a second hand Miltek one  :happy2: then its cheaper and even second hand it will proberly outlast one of the bay!

I think I am going to go eBay decat to a non res milltek centre section then std back box (to keep the noise down) Total cost under £250:-)

Has any one done this? Any body know what sort of noise levels it will be? I do not want it to be loud inside the car.. Or would I be better getting a resonated centre??

I originally deleted the back box and had a decat. Both on standard system. Sounds great.
