Title: Air Con -10

I have seen some people saying that after an AC re-gas they are getting temps of -10,is that the actual reading that appears on
the digital read out
Mine only says LO when turned right down.

I think the aircon only goes down to 16.

16 is the lowest that the climate control gauge will go down to. When turned down to Lo, the temperature will no longer be controlled by the thermostat to keep an even temperature, it will just constantly blow out the air as cool as it can. I don't quite know temp the air coming out is, but I doubt it would be in minus figures! I've never measured it though, so hey, I could be wrong!

It shouldn't go to minus figures unless something's broken
It will freeze the circuit and cause damage etc so the manufactures have safety built in
Best I've ever seen is -1 (not on a VW) but the A/C was malfunctioning
Comfort zone is deffo not in minus figures for long lol!!  :grin:

Air con in the golf will blow no lower than 8-9 degrees. hot days temp measurement will increase to around 10-11 degrees on its coldest setting.
