People, got a problem here
Wanted to get my alpine headunit into the golf aswell as my 0 gauge wiring and if i had time the phono leads aswell.
0 gauge went through the gromet ole fine (which is located near the top mounts under the black top mount cover) - had to look long and hard for this lol
But the easy part - installing the headunit was actually the hardest part, the double din adapter and cage went in fine but the headunit is not powering up at all, ive measured 1 of the iso adapters which has the red and black wires has 12 volts coming out of it?? would i maybe need to change the wires going into the pins? as before i had this unit in a peugeot 206
anything else i can check??
