Title: 2.0 Litre FSI - HELP!
Post by: 08micsta on June 03, 2009, 11:37:15 am
Hello Guys

I have a client with a 2.0 Litre FSI Golf. Does anyone here know what oil it uses in its gearbox?

According to the Liqui Moly Oil Guide its a 75W90 Fully Synthetic... Can anyone confirm this please?

BTW I did call a dealer... They dont know  :scared: :angry015:

Hello guys

To answer my own question....  :signIWS:

You can use a Fully Synthetic 75W90 GL5 for a 6 Speed Manual Gearbox on a FSI Golf.

Thanks for the reply though VW Racing  :innocent:

Actually, the DSG fluid is fully synthetic, not mineral, and is OEM supplied by Pentosin (FFL-2)

Correct Mr. TT

However should you not feel like buying it via VW at inflated prices you can use the Liqui Moly product... Works pretty well too which helps. And its much cheaper for a similar if not better specced lubricant.
