Looks well speced but that car doesn't have xenons so make sure you check the rest of the list.

Remember that half that spec is standard on the GTI.

Things that were optional extras:

Full winter pack (heated washer jets, heated seats, washers for headlamps, low washer level alarm)
18in Monza II Alloy Wheels
Sat Navigation system (over 1000 pound)
Ten Speaker Upgrade Stereo System
Xenon head lights
Cruise Control

The front windscreen isn't heated. The satnav isn't worth £1000 - you can buy second hand RNS510 for £350-500.

A proper heated windscreen has heating elements in it. I think it was Ford that originally designed the system. You'll be able to see it in the windscreen - there will be tiny vertical lines (the heating elements) maybe 5-10mm apart running up and down the entire windscreen. I've not seen a MK5 Golf of any type with this.

No Highline could be specced without a MFSW...

Yeah I know what a heated screen is was just wondering how you knew it didn't have one? As it looks like it has a switch for the front screen? How easy is it to retro fit MFSW?

The switch for the front screen is just a de-mister, the Golf does not have a heated windscreen in the same way some Fords do as Stealth described.

In a manual car, it means new steering wheel and probably a steering wheel controller upgrade.

Ah right okay learn something new everyday! So apart from it not having xenons do you reckon it's a good buy? It's up for £7,700
