Its a 56 plate 49k miles spec on it is good,

F&R parking sensors
Full leather
SatNav
Dual zone climate
Rear twin audio with headrest screens
bendy xenons

Excuse the tow hook its got a poorly engine but that will be sorted asap, ill get some more pics once its all done,

To come will be uprated internals wossner pistons and h beam rods, bigger intercooler and decat both front and middle cats then down to RSTuning for mapping plus ill be fitting the folding mirrors and oem bluetooth to finish the spec off

I'm sure you'll all be cursing me for going to the dark side but I needed the bus for my bike and with the spec plus 265bhp with the bluefin its a hoot especially for the price I got it at :happy2: and the engine is well ripe for 420+bhp

Has the world suddenly stopped turning?
Has Hell frozen over?
Is that a flying pig I see?

Noooooo!

Darren's been lured by Darth Vader to the Dark Side! :sad1:

What happened to the S3 plan?

I hope you'll keep coming on here to help us poor befuddled stereo guys out from time to time. :happy2:

It came up very cheap John, the S3 is on the back burner but not forgotten Ill certainly stick around but I'm doing more and more overtime to pay for the move to a bigger house.

Hi Darren

It might not be an audi, but if it ticks the boxes then that is the main thing.

I'm sure the Audi will come soon

It came up very cheap...

I'm sure I read that the Zafira is the fastest depreciating car in the UK...

It can be whatever it wants to be mate, it's a cat c so I know what I bought into same has my golf they get run for a couple of years then get traded.

Once I've finished with it I'll then sort the S3 out

Looks good Morty  :happy2: , I've always thought this was one of the better looking cars out all the mini MPV's and it looks like you've found one with nearly all the optional extra's on

#2 cylinder conrod is defo fubard #3 not sure but looks like conrod bent slightly? Not making full travel to top of bore?? The turbo had a mass of water in which I expected so rather than refurb it I'm just going to buy a new one.  I've also ordered new cambelt kit and turbo gasket and inlet/outlet gasket sets.

Once the engine is at the garage I'll get the zaffy over there and get it swapped over.

Well its all done just had Thorney Motorsport BF on and its at stage-1 272bhp - 280ft lb, bigger intercooler and full tbe with stage-3 and it should be into the 300+

The gearboxes on the vxr's are the weakest link so ill be getting the bearings changed at some stage just to make sure it doesn't go pop :scared:

The handling is actually quite good with the IDS+ and CDC it just sits in the corners and goes round them even better with the SPORT button has it sharpens every thing. The only thing ill be touching on the suspension side will be uprating the RARB.

Other than that i'm actually liking it more and more and I can actually put my bike in it without taking the wheels off  :happy2:

Looks good Darren, i just thought of you yesterday, it has been a while
The flat tube from the airbox on top of the engine shouldn't it be possible to do better? warming the air up over the engine is a bad idea

Cheers guys

Jake there are certainly better ways the most common is the CDTI airbox which basically does away with the crossover pipe and directs it from the airbox straight to the turbo.

As above

It looks quite under-stated in silver. I would be tempted to put standard bumpers on it for a laugh. My mechanic made x2 ford connect vans with focus rs engines in that were  :rolleye:
