Title: Couple of questions on wheels/tyres

Hi guys , i just put a set of bbs ch's on my 1.9tdi golf just wondering whats the best profile of tyre to go for ? They have 40's at the moment , im thinking 45's would be better/less road noise ?

Also as it has 15's on as standard will they cause the speedo to give an incorrect speed ? When i had my mk1 golf i had 15's on that and they were 13" frOm the factory and the speedo was way out.

Any help would be great

If the alloys are 225-40-18 keep to the 40 profile as the speedo will only be out bout 5% and also their is more choices of tyres making them cheaper
