Title: ED30 price
Post by: scooba on August 19, 2012, 05:47:13 pm
Hi Can you offer me some advice

3 DOOR DSG Red june 08  ed30   one owner 13,500 miles from new FVSH apart from the cam belt hasnt been changed because they guy belives its pointless it is 4 yr old but only 13,500 miles .

It doesnt have xenons/Nav /BT/Parking sensors or the likes .My Brother needs a car urgent but like he said £14,500 private is really strong money  where do you think it should be ,I guess it will find its level ,It is very nice but if you factor in fitting nav and BT and cam belt service  it does start looking a very silly buy at least another £1250 .

Like many will say it is worth what someone is willing to pay for it, low miles DSG, may get alittle more than your average. Prices for average miles appear to be from autotrader £12,990 down to about £9k now.

Agreed, ignore what bloke says, recommended at 4 years anyway, will cost £429 to do.

That is a good price , The ED30 is now up on ebay take a look.

I have a ed30 with much higher spec and 20k miles  also a Golf R on order   this was for my Brother but the price is bothering him Nice mileage but quite bear bones spec wise so as the OP time he has Nav and say MFSW  cam belt it could easy add £1000+

Lets be fair the guy wants 14 to 14,500  and then add £1250 you can get mk 6 GTI s for that  now  it is nice but not nearly £16k to get it correct plus it aint got Xenons either

How about this one?

I got picked up in it last week and it's as clean as they come. Totally belies the mileage. Best part is it comes from a very well regarded member on here and total enthusiast so you know it's had the best of the best. I know the mileage is higher, but you would never tell the mileage if it was hidden from you. Also, being a Pirelli, it's probably more more exclusive.

Yes this is a nice one but it has 30k more miles ,Im sure if the red one had a professional detailer as a owner it would polish up nice as well , I am sure its a great buy but this  Red ED30 is being considered by my Brother and it is the mileage that appeals to him
