Hey Guys,
My name is Alamin and I am an avid VW Golf Maniac, I have previously owned a Golf Mk4 1.6 and hopefully soon will be a proud owner of a VW Golf Mk5 1.6 FSi.

I have been going through a number of golf mk5 forums in the hopes of upgrading parts on my car and in return giving a full detailed with pictures description in how I carried out my work. Giving something back to the community.
I would appreciate your help if anyone can direct me the right way in terms of purchasing and carrying out these retrofits.
Current Retrofits upon purchase:
MK6 Flat Bottom GTI/R MFSW
White Highline Full MFD Cluster
Mk5 GTI/R32 Gear Knob
RNS510 (with GPS Antenna)
9w7 VW Bluetooth Module
Chrome Light Switch/Mirrors Switch (Not 100% sure of the actual names :ashamed:)
Custom Chrome the edge of the 4 front airvents
Mk6 Standard Climate Control Unit
Changing standard interior lights to blue tint white
OH and Finally a Custom iPhone 4s/5 Dock on the dash to look OEM
WOW! That's a long list and ALOT of MON£Y but hopefully with the communities help I can keep costs down and Carry out majority of the work on my own.
PS. VCDS is a free software will I be able to buy the cable/wire on a budget with full functionality.

And welcome to one of the best websites for the Mk5
MK6 Flat Bottom GTI/R MFSW = Expensive as you will need a new controller. I can get CH controllers
White Highline Full MFD Cluster = This is possible... however it does have issues which would put a lot of people off the idea. PM if you want to know as I don't want to post why

RNS510 (with GPS Antenna) I can help with the RNS and bluetooth

Ok Eddie-NL unfortunately I cannot as of yet read PMs so even if I PM'd you I would be able to read what you replied. That being said if possible will you be able to tell me in this topic, I would kindly appreciate it.
So here goes:
-How much am I looking at for the MK6 MFSW plus the CH Controller (and/or both prices separate).
-In regards to the White Highline Full MFD Cluster what are the issues that I will run into.
-I am interested in the RNS 510 Version C+ including 9w7 Bluetooth module and which is the best GPS Antenna I can hook up (No positioning bugs)
-In terms of the MK6 Climate Control Unit I didn't want to change the whole system just the controller thing really (Sorry for not knowing proper name).
If it helps this is what I am on about I have seen that a few people have carried out this retrofit on this forum
