Title: Rear arch rust
Post by: kevinw90 on September 02, 2012, 11:29:47 am
Hello, currently working on my little project... vw caddy pickup.  Slight but of rust in the rear arch and I'm no bodywork expert atall!  Got the bits out that I can see but there may be a little bit hidden up behind the arch where I cant see. Does anyone have any ideas of how to get this out?  Was thinking on just coating the back with rust eater stuff.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

A longshot but what age is the VW Caddy pickup? I guess quite old being a pickup. If it was a Mk5 you might try your luck getting it done by VW for free as there are known wheel arch rust issues. But I've never seen a Mk5 Caddy pickup, so...........
