Well seems like the saga that is my car has struck yet another little blow to add to the long lengt of faults it keeps throwing at me.
i've been working 7 days a week lately, and dont usually see much daylight, so was suprised on my day off to find oil all over the driveway off my car

etc etc
So I had a look about, and cant see any oil coming from anywhere above the intake manifold, so popped the car on axle stands, took the undertray off, nothing at all coming from the rear of the engine, all from the front

now unless when the engine was in bits 3 weeks ago, and all left over oil has finally dripped down, or I've sprung a leak. I cant see any obvious places where the oil is coming from, although I could have sworn on idle that I saw oil dripping and gathering on here

That's not right at all Dom, i cleaned it all off before you took it
Checked it over after running it for four days too and was perfect
I know your a long way away but you'll have to pop it back to me to see what's happened, if it's down to us well sort it
Did you not see this when you fitted your bits and bobs the other day?
I'll call you tomorrow

I always park on the same spot on the drive, so dont usually notice. it was only because the missus parked in my space, so I had hers, so when she went out I spotted the oil. I only changed the front and rear PCV's and the DV, and all those are above the area from where oil is eminating :stupid:

Just mailed you back bro

Maybe the fuel pump seal. Seen people catch them before when refitting the pumps.
The hose clips on the fuel pump hose look a little pants. Wurth do the best fuel hose clips. Work well and give nice even pressure.

Theres no oil anywhere above the manifold, I checked the fuel pump for leaks yesterday. I'm positive its from somewhere under the intake manifold
I'll have a look for some of those clips then alex :happy2:
Thanks for help alex :happy2:
