Post by: rtorbs on September 02, 2012, 09:14:34 pm
Hi all,

New member here, just joined to hopefully get some clarity on a few questions and for any future help as ive been reading a number of posts on here over the last couple of weeks in advance of (hopefully) completing on a edition 30 next sat , been looking solid now for 4 months.....

Really impressed with the level of detail and articles contained within...might just be a place to stick around

Cheers

T

Welcome on board Mr T!  :drinking:

Are you buying from a main dealer or privately? One thing to look for is that the Camebelt/Waterpump has been changed at 4 years or 60k (which ever came first). I only mention this as it keeps getting asked a lot lately.

Hi All,

Did a bit of a swerve when I was supposed to look at the edition 30 and ended up purchasing a mint 06 R in grey Sat just gone ......well pleased.

Aesthetics aside, its more car for the money over the ed 30 and given the shonky weather we get (especially in Yorkshire) i figured it might be more practical (fuel consumption aside obviously!)

Anyway's ill get some pics up if anyone is interested?!....just need a nice day for a pic or two
