All the spaces are taken on track, but its free to spectate. Grass roots motorsport, a great day out. Can see the whole track from the viewing points.
Some great cars in attendance on the day. Should be thoroughly entertaining.
I'll be helping to organise on the day. Get yourself along.
Hot food & drink at the burger van on site.
Read more on the Club GTI Forum. Hope to see a few of you there.

Many of you spectating this weekend then? Hurdy is on the reserve list in case anyone pulls out.
-
Oooo weather's meant to be alright on Sunday, sounds a good day in the sun, watching the cars eating food :happy2:
Not a million miles from me I don't think, if I finish work early enough I'll pop up :)
-
Great. :happy2:
Any more?
Weather is supposed to be scorching on Sunday, so should be a great day out. :drinking:
-
I'm no longer on the reserve list now and so the .:R will have it's first
beating outing on track :driver:
Probably a little big and heavy for Curborough, but should be a fun day.

you should check out the mad mile that is Gorse Lane Hurdy, its ben sanitised a bit with the roundabout and upgraded section but from my youth great fun given it ends with a hump back bridge not wide enough for two cars and steep enough to guarantee plenty of air (as some guys i knew proved in a RS1600i when then put the struts through the bonnet and dislodged the entire dash on landing)

Hope you had a good day John & Mike!!
What times were you getting out of interest?
-
We left before they announced results but I did this unofficial iPhone time..

I must add I had just eaten a sausage sarnie and John had a big bakewell tart!
-
That Bakewell tart was awfully heavy Mike - felt like one of my Talladega's
The 30.6 is all I know. No-one has posted a list of results up yet off CGTI.
Had a great day though. I think Mike and me were more interested in doing launches down the main strip than timing :driver:

Times aren't published on the site. The event isn't run as a competitive motorsport event, else there would have to be a lot more red tape.
The times are for personal use, and sent out in spreadsheet format afterwards!! ;)

Cheers Luke :happy2:
