Title: Anyone know what this is under the drivers seat?

The ed30 seats I've got doesn't have this under the drivers seat but has something similar on the passenger seat

Hi

Your old seats have 2x Control boxes for the seat heating

The edition 30 seats have the newer control box which does both seats. You will need to remove all the parts from your existing seats and fit them to the ED30 seats. When you sell your old seats the ED30 control box and looms will work fine with a Kufatec loom for 2007+

Seems its a heated seat controller

We're the ed30 heated seats wired differently?

I thought all ed30 had heated seats?

When you say remove everything? Do you mean just the loom and those control boxes?

Or do I need to get the heating element out?

Where can I get the adapter loom as well so I can sell it with my other seats

Both seats and the heating elements are the same

The Under seat looms, Control boxes and the wiring in the car is different.

Actually I don't think this loom swap is going to work as the ed30 airbag plug is part of the seat and the wire goes up inside the side of the seat.

Actually I think I've done it. Just had to Untape the whole loom to get the old airbag wire out

i'll cut the wires and swap the plugs.

Surprised I've not heard other people with similar problems when they swap seats??

Mine was a straight swap apart from fitting th kufatec loom, just might be luck of the draw mate

what year is your car?
Whats the kufatec loom for? Did you not have heated seats before?

Whats the kufatec loom for? Did you not have heated seats before?

2007 and the kufatec loom was for the heated and lumbar as I had cloth non heated before

mine had to be swapped as it an 06 and seats are 07  :happy2:
