Off to Afghan for 4 Months at the weekend so I thought I would give the Golf a Detail before I go and hopefully make it easier for the wife to look after my pride and joy.
Paintwork has been machine polished and clayed recently so was in pretty good condition.
Snow foamed
Washed with Auto Finesse Lather Shampoo.
Red Moose Clearkote applied with machine polisher.
2 coats of Jetseal 109
Final wax with Victoria Concours Wax
Wheels cleaned with bilberry wheel cleaner and Wheel Seal and Shine applied.
Hope you like it

The Red Moose Clearkote and Victoria Concours work well with Tornado Red, all available from cleanyoucar.com :happy2:

Hi Ian
That looks great. What do you use on your grill and other trim. Mine's gone grey but yours looks nice and black.
-
If you want i can look after it for you at no cost, for the 4 months. :innocent:
Looking lovely. Keep your head down and be safe. :drinking:

Just used Auto Glym Bumper Care that I have had for years on the shelf in the garage.

Fingers crossed. She drives a mini and will use the golf once or twice a week just to keep it going.
Have plans when I get back to colour code the rear bumper, side skirts, front splitter and replace the bonnet due to hailstone damage.
Also will be off to R-Tech for a re-map :jumpmove:

Nice one, thanks. I think that's one of the few AG products that I don't have yet. I've been using AG V&RC on exterior trim; it looks good but doesn't last long. I'll give the bumper and trim gel a shot.

nice mate. Lovely finish.
Good luck in Afghan :happy2:
