Title: Isssssue with my heaters :(

Hi i have a mk5 golf on 2004 plate. The heaters on my car seemed to have died and i cant get to the solution, i turn it all the way to no 4 but there is no noise or response they dnt throw out cold air or warm. Any help would be appreciated

Blower motor or blower motor resistor may have gone? Or maybe just the switch?

Does it work on any setting?

What heating system is it? Manual? Dual zone climatronic?

It is a manual heater, it does not work on any setting at all

Would the temperature sensor have anything to do with this? Is your engine management light on?

sounds like your switch has failed or plug has became loose (unlikely) or the blower motor resistor has failed
