I was surprised at the winner. There hasn't been any conversation about them round here.

All 17 inch
1st to last

Pirelli PZero
Goodyear F1 AS2
Michelin PS3
Cont SC 5

Bridgestone Pot S001
Dunlop Sport Maxx RT
Hankook Ventus S1 Evo
Vredestrein Ultrac Vorti
Kumho Ecsta LE Sport
Nexen N800

top 4 quite close

Im not convinced to be honest and wonder if EVO are totally unbiased these days.
PZero surprises me. Rest I can believe as Ive ran PS3 and SC5 and they are good. Goodyear gets excellent reviews time after time.

I have recently fitted P-Zero's to my Pirelli and I've yet to make them loose traction in the dry. They seem a very capable tyre to me!

Why test in 17's only. Most performance cars these days comes with 19/20's

Should have done two tests.

The best tyres for 19's are completely different to those for 17's

What's good in the world of 19/20" tyres then?

Anyone had or have the Goodyear Ultra Grip Performance 2 winter tyres? Seem to come out well in the reviews on that website. Like my Goodyear F1 2's a lot so was thinking to keep it all in the family. This will be my first time having winter tyres so no previous experience.

I also have the PZero s fitted to my stage 1 Pirelli and have never lost traction in the dry above 2nd gear.  Highly recommend them but they do wear pretty quickly
