Title: Bas****s
Post by: nathangallo on September 08, 2012, 09:38:24 am
Someone for some reason has pulled my ariel off and placed it nicely back on the roof   :sad1:
Now I have my ariel with the female thread connected to it.
My question is how will I get the female thread back into the black ariel base on the roof as the whole on the base is circle and the female thread is square.

Will the headliner have to come off, if so is there a thread around to help me??

Thanks guys

Here's a link:

It does involve a reasonable bit of work unfortunately.

It might help to pity the pathetic creature that did this to you. He is obviously a sad, lonely and very jealous individual with a rather low IQ.

Where are you based Nathan. It's so wrong when kids don't respect other people's property, with a stroke of luck one of them little c**ts will buy a car one day and we'll all come round and wreck it

Good stuff. Did you use a mirror like the diy suggested or did you just feel where the cables and nut were?

My headliner come down enough to see but didn't have a 22mmsocket  :scared: so had to getting there with an adjustable wrench from work ahah!
One thing I did struggle with was that once I disconnected the black cable the socket wouldn't pass it was stuck on something! So just had to repair the Ariel in situ !
