Title: URGENT HELP REQUIRED!!

ok so i was cleaning my car today and tried to clean the A/C vents with my finger and look what happened!

Oops! anyway i spent an hour trying to get the tiny plastic bit in so the vents move in tandem but no luck and they flap like birds! So I was wondering if any of you nice gentlement could look on ETKA and find a part number and price for me, I've got 2mo off so will have to pick up a new one!

Thanks everyone and let that me a lesson to you dont tinker with the a/c vents!

PS Its the right hand side (drivers side)

this happend to me when i was putting my header unit in...its a very fiddly job  to get it back in but it can be done :signLOL:

i tried for ages and couldnt do it the pins wont slot into the holes in one go i dont think ive got the co ordination for it!

update! i tried to fix it and blew the vents to smithereens so if anyone has etka to hand can you please look this part up for me and print screen it for me? cheers

should be the vents front housing fully functioning?

Try the breakers yards mate. And as for cleaning vents just use a soft clean paint brush. :happy2: :innocent:.

im still without a vent and Vw quoted £29 for the whole part i only need the front but what can you do, anyway there is only one auto salvage place in loughborough and theyre useless so I was wondering if anyone knew any breakers in leicestershire where I'm likely to get hold of this dam part that I need!
