Title: adjustable top mounts

can anyone recommend a  source for adjustable top mounts reasonably priced. I have just fitted my NSBBK and had to fit 6mm spacers to clear the wheels, now the tyres are getting chewed up when cornering catching on the wheel arch.I did the normal mod of bending the arch liner to wing screw up but still rubbing.

Alex at AKS has the Ground control on his car, he speaks highly of them and sells the product aswell  :wink:

Ground control mounts are great.  Check out my build thread for some pics.

The ap coilovers are the same design as the kw's which use a stock sized spring so getting the ground control mounts to fit is easy.

Got a set going on a lovely Leon next week.

Alex, any adverse effects with the top mounts? I've seen talk of them being noisy? Any experience of this with the ground control?

As with anything solidly mounted there is some noise over slow speed bumps.  Nothing once you are up to speed.  The best thing about these is the extra feel and responsiveness throughout the car.

Stock rubber mounts will flex and bounce rather than allowing the suspension to do its job.  These make the damper work faster to then do its job correctly.

They are fitted to my vRS which is a daily driver for me and I love them.  The car is always at the unit ready for demo rides too.

Yeah they will fit.  I can order them for stock shock and spring size.  :happy2:
