Title: Installing V8 maps on RNS 510 "D" Version 3800 firmware
Post by: fab5freddy on September 09, 2012, 05:12:15 pm
Endlessly been searching on here and google, but can find nothing in relation to installing new maps

Was hoping my new V8 maps would come with a tutorial cd but alas no.

Is it just a case of throwing it in and following instructions or is there more to it?

Any help much apperciated

I am running 4020 moded firmware with v8 maps on B unit. When you insert map disc it will ask if you want to copy to HD.

As straight forward as that  :signLOL:

Nothing else to it? How long should it take?

Just off topic, how often does new maps come out and where's the cheapest place to get it?
