Title: MK6 rear emblem

Just a quick one - would the VW part off the MK6 rear mechanism fit the MK5? VW for VW only.

If you are speaking about the MK6 badge/boot handle, then yes I just got this mod done !

MK6 badge is nicer, then MK5 !

The later mk5's have a 2 piece badge like the mk6, the only difference is the mk6 chrome plastic part is 3d where as the mk5 plastic part is flat.

Straight swap fella (as long as yours is the latter Mk5 version), looks a lot better.  :happy2:

Did you change the whole mechanism or just the chrome VW?

I thought so. I've just ordered a piano black emblem only. Just have to suck it and see I guess.
