Title: EPC light

Wandering if anyone can shed any light...

The car (2007 1.6 FSI) has been recently shaking a little on idle, not to vigorously but noticeably more than before.. Not sure if its related but its started a few days after using
"Redex petrol advanced fuel system cleaner" and today the "EPC" light has come on...

As soon as it came on the car went into limp mode, so switched the engine off, started it back up and the light disappeared and the car felt alive again..

Ive checked the forum and others regarding "EPC" and theres no clear cut explanation  :confused:

When my epc light came on it was a softwear fault but car ran fine no different! That's all I can help with sorry! A free dealer update sorted it!
