Title: BBS CH wheel colour on Red GTi
Post by: jedi-knight83 on September 09, 2012, 09:53:49 pm
Ok lads (and any ladies of course)... this is serious now wheels are being refurbed this week..  :signLOL: Forget world debt, poverty, hunger, wars..... This is the most important decision in the world right now  :driver:

Ok so maybe I'm going over the top but I've gone back and forth and back and forth....... I had pretty much decided on silver... and then re fitted my silver 18s yesterday and I'm disappointed with how boring it looks.

Ok I know the fact they are 18s will make a difference but the blacks looked so much meaner... 'so get them black' I hear you moan... Well I would but worry I will get bored or it looks a bit chav??

So... The options are above.

Bright silver (Only if I cant get the ed30 colour or the paint is too expensive)
ED30 Silver (I've never seen this on a 19" so could be interesting making it very OEM++ I prefer this idea to bright silver though)
Black with silver lip

Pics if anyone has pics of a red gti on 19" CH in ED30 colour please post them

Bright Silver

be brave and rock them in candy white with red lettering... I use top cats old 1.2's on track they are white and I touched the lettering in myself in tornado red.

No doubt, got to be Hyper Silver. Spent the last couple of months convincing myself I don't need CH's in 19's (it's not working)

Have also considered black, it's a super tricky one. My idea is to get the BBS CH for summer and tHen some Black wheels (not sure which) for winter.

....Yes, I think the bright silver looks ultra clean and isn't car detailing your business? Suits the BBS CH very well too, in my opinion.

Yeah. i'm actually going off the ED30 pescara colour for this very reason.. If i scratch one in the future it will be very difficult to just repair that 1 wheel.

I'm actually leaning much more towards satin black with a silver lip.

Got kerb rash on 2 of my Pescara's. Not going to bother getting them refurb'd AGAIN, changing wheels!!!

I think ED30 silver is out and so is silver pretty much. It just looks too oem... especially as the wheels are the same style as the pescara's. I think a different wheel in silver would look awesome.

Dolphin is too dark. Looking at Gunmetal now... or Just the satin black with silver lip.
