Title: Cheap Anti-virus software
Post by: gazbutS3 on September 11, 2012, 07:17:44 pm
After nothing but trouble with Norton I've eventually managed to remove it, it wouldn't even do that correctly  Can anybody recommend some cheap(free) anti-virus software for my old laptop???

MSE (microsoft security essentials) from Microsoft.
If you are a Barclays customer, they give out free Kaspersky internet security keys.

I used to love AVG. used it from v4 to v6. V7 was just bloatware. Switched to Avast and never looked back. Also use Comodo firewall as was having problems with zonealarm and alcohol 120%.
