Title: Quick question...
Post by: Mackie1 on September 14, 2012, 07:21:05 pm
The postman just dropped off a set of Forge 3mm spacers to me this morning. Is it safe to use them with my standard bolts or will I have to get longer ones? Any advice will be much appreciated.

You should be ok if they are Monza's in between the bolt and face.  Take one of the wheels off the car and drop a bolt in holding the spacers on the back. You can see how much thread there will be holding in the hub.  :happy2:

The oem bolts will be safe. I used to have 8mm spacers on and needed longer bolts for them. I think you need longer bolts from 5mm on.
