Sealents work really well on Silver! :happy2:
-
Thanka for the reply , what brand of sealant would you recommend?
-
There's plenty to choose from and they all do pretty much the same job. Auto Finesse's Tough Coat is great value for money and really easy to use!
-
I agree with Nath!
Here are a few links showing both sealant and wax on my silver Ed30 :happy2:
Here is the Zaino sealant link....

Chemical Guys do some great products :happy2:
I had awesome results with Chemical Guys Blacklight Radiant Finish polish :notworthy:
and V7 Hybrid Paint sealant spray.
-
Werkstat Acrylic :happy2:
+1 for the Werkstat I use it both on my akoya silver Audi & the CW GTi - its foolproof (which is great for me :rolleye:) very easy to use & top up
-
I would normally say +2 for Werkstatt, but after using it for 5 years with excellent results, i woul dlike to try Wolfs Body wrap... if you do get Jeff's acrylic kit, from www.polishedbliss.co.uk then when the paint is clean and polished, apply the 'prime' by DA if you can, by hand is fine though, then just build up the layers of the Jett, then finish off with the gloss...
Use quite sparingly apply with a cloth which will dampen, and have a second cloth to buff off dry...
I'm gonna try the wolfs body wrap in my next order so will let yuou know how i get on... so werkstat pics though...
Old R32 before sale...

Yea as said above use a sealant first then lay down a coat of wax last ,the last silver car i did a correction detail on i used auto finesse tough coat for the sealant and then a layer of auto finesse wax and it looked awesome ! its very hard to make a silver car look very glossy
-
i use dodo juice light fantastic and have always got good results, however this is probably due to the work i put in before i got to the waxing stage (washing correctly, claying, polishing, glossing, sealing) which is true for whichever wax you are going to use.
