Hi Folks, following on from the endless juddering threads, lol, I have found of late that when im braking from high speeds, my steering wheel judders somewhat! Discs and pads recently changed, so doubt thats the cause, any ideas?? I have a 2005 GTi. Someone at work mentioned bushes, mite you agree?
Cheers
Andrew

I still would check that your front discs aren't warped...
-
Cheers, is that something that they wud have to check, or is there something simple I can do to check? :-o
-
They might have not cleaned the hub faces when installing the new disc... Did you bed them in gently? Are they grooved/drilled?
-
Hmm, well I didnt go any more mental than what I normally do! :$
On fear of death, yes, got them changed at Kwikfit, had them done there before, so get the pads free so to speak, so I am assuming that they use standard parts if that helps!?

Hmmm something ain;t right... :signLOL:

I know the bloke there well actually, so will go see him next wk. So not the bushes then??
-
If it wasn't happening before you changed the discs and pads then i would look there first.

Thanks. If the discs/pads were wharped, wud that really cause a steering wheel 2 judder thou on braking? :-o
