Hi,
Just wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to retrofit a DSG edition 30 steerting wheen into a manual 1.9 tdi golf?
If it is possible to fit and code it in, will I need any additional parts in order to make it work?
Any help will be appreciated.

Steering wheel loom, possibly slip ring, possibly steering controller

It'll definitely work....
... as a steering wheel.
It definitely won't turn your manual into a DSG.

Thanks for the reply guys.
:signLOL: I wish I could turn it into a DSG!
So the answer to my orignal question is a yes, I can fit it in.
If I only wanted to fit the wheel for cosmetic reasons as it looks better, would i still reuqire the additional parts or would a new loom suffice?

Are we talking about a MFSW? If not, you may only need a new slip ring. Think you need a C slip ring and thats it. Depends on the year of your car!

The wheel which I am talking about is a flat bottom multi function one.
My car is a 1.9 TDI 2005 (55).
At present I had mid line display and no multi function with the standard 3 spoke wheel.

So you will need the new loom for definite. You need to find out which slip ring and which steering wheel controller you have and go from there!
