Title: Iron x & tardis order?
Post by: Tortaruga on September 20, 2012, 09:11:17 pm
Hoping to clay my car next week. Just wondered if anyone knows whether to use iron-x before or after the tardis??

Cheers

Wash etc, Tardis and rinse, then iron x and rinse and then clay!  watch tardis on your trims!

+1. Tardis first and then iron-x. Iron-x works best on a dry surface.

On my plastics-skirts etc you mean? What harm does it do?

We always tend to Iron-X then Tardis and then Clay if required.

Tardis will be fine on your plastics but I wouldn't leave it too long, and certainly do not let it dry.

its down to preference really. Theres merits to doing both last, but theres no right or wrong way providing you rinse adequately each time ;)

I use both too - hadn't thought about a correct order but I use tardis 1st then iron x and have not had any issues.. As others have said, a good rinse between products is necessary though..
