Title: Failed my HGV test yesterday

Cant believe it, failed HGV Driving test yesterday
7 minor faults and 1 serious

Serious fault: was not driving fast enough in busy town centre road. Speed limit was 30mph I was doing about 23mph for while, as road was busy, a lot happening around, pedestrians, cyclists. Thought driving 18t truck with care will be positive.

Hate driving tests, when someone watching/judging when you driving. :fighting:

Commiserations.  Keep with it - I failed my cat C first time when the examiner said I hadn't checked my nearside mirror for a right turm, although I had.  I went on to pass cat D and C+E.

I wish more people could see the road from a lorry cab.  I'd done all sorts before lorries including IAM for cars and bikes, but that's just scratching the surface.

Unlucky mate. At least it's a minor issue and you know you're likely to pass it next time!

Can feel your pain mate I passed class 2 1st time but failed class 1 twice,I hated the whole experience the examiners are complete arseholes they put you on edge an make you feel uncomfertable and I don't think that's how a test should be

Thanks guys  :notworthy:

I am not worried about job as I am already employed. I work as manager in bakery, but needed licence to take my carrier further as I was offered Transport Management job for same company.

Thanks again guys  :notworthy:
